This Merchant Life

Art direction for This Merchant Life, an indie game on Steam. One of the key considerations was to create a distinctive look and feel which would help the game stand out in a crowded marketplace. The developed style brought together the bright, exaggerated tones of the silk road and a more traditional, medieval setting. I worked on a character art concept, world map, icon language and the UX.
